Terms and Conditions
The Promoter is the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, PO Box 23, Western Road, Cork T12 WT72 under licence, Case no: D:LIC:CORKD:2023:010487 granted by Cork District Court on the 24th November 2023, a charity/company limited by guarantee under the Irish Laws of Ireland with registered charity number CHY4783 having its registered office at 65 Terenure Road West, Dublin 6W (hereafter referred to as the “Promoter”).
Lottery Licence
The Promoter was granted a lottery licence by Cork District Court on the 23rd November 2023 under section 28 of the Gaming and Lotteries Act 1956 (As Amended). The Sacred Heart Missionary Education Trust CLG is the Licence Holder.
By entering this Raffle all entrants agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other conditions in the messaging or promotions of this. Any entries not complying to these terms and conditions will not be valid. The terms and conditions are governed by Irish Law and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
Entry Requirements
Raffle Period
This Raffle, also known as the ‘MSC Easter Draw 2024’ (“the Draw”), will run from the 21st February 2024 to the 25th March 2024 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive. All competition entries must be received by the Promoter no later than midnight on the Closing Date.
To Enter
Many existing donors will receive a raffle pack via post. Recipients of this pack can return the completed tickets with correct information completed with payment by posting same to Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, MSC Missions Office, P.O Box 23, Western Road, Cork T12 WT72.
Purchasing an online Draw ticket at the price of €5.00 per ticket or 5 tickets for €20.00. (4 plus one free entry). These tickets can be purchased at mscmissions.ie/EasterDraw
Funding Restrictions
All income generated by the Draw will go to support Missionaries of the Sacred Heart Projects.
Eligibility
- The Draw is open to all persons aged 18 or over.
- The Draw is subject to all applicable state and local laws and regulations in the Republic of Ireland.
- The Promoter reserves the right to reject any entry (and award the prize to an alternative winner) if it has grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions, acted fraudulently or illegally or on other reasonable grounds and shall have no liability to an entrant for an loss or damage arising from such rejection.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any of the above prizes for another prize of equal or greater value.
Winner Selection
Criteria for Inclusion in the Draw
The Draw consists of 60 prizes as listed in Section 4 of these terms and conditions. Each valid entry will be entered into the Draw, as long as they are purchased (and, in the case of printed tickets, returned to Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, MSC Missions Office, P.O Box 23, Western Road, Cork T12 WT72 by midnight of the 25th March 2024.
Only valid entries with the required information to identify and contact the winner will be entered in to the Draw. Should any tickets for the Draw be incomplete or should printed tickets be returned without payment for same, those tickets will be deemed to be invalid and will not be entered in the Draw.
The Winner will be drawn by an independent person on Wednesday 27th March 2024 at noon at the offices of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart in Western Road, Cork.
The decision of the Promotor shall be final.
- Notification of Winners
The winners will be notified within 5 working days of the closing date either by post, email or telephone. The Promoter’s decision is final. The Promoter shall have no liability for the winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email, or other security settings or for the winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If the winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible and / or fails to claim the prize within 28 days from the time the notification is sent, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected.
Winners will be required to provide proof of identity when collecting their prize.
- By entering the Easter Draw 2024, the winner agrees to take part in reasonable post Draw publicity, which includes, but not limited to publishing the winners’ names on the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart website.
- Use of information
The Promoter respects, and is committed to protecting your privacy. The personal information you provide will remain private and will only be used for the purposes of contacting the winners, unless otherwise requested by the individual. The winners’ name will be announced on the website www.mscmissions.ie
- Limitation of Liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstance be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability (under contract, or otherwise under law) for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize, except where it caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees.
